"SME Business Club" A Business Networking Platform is initiated by SME Chamber of India on 3rd May 2008 at Mumbai jointly with India International Trade Centre (IITC-INDIA), SME Export Promotion Council, Maharashtra Industrial and Economic Development Association and SME Business Management Institute to provide unique opportunity to small and medium entrepreneurs from various sectors to establish and enhance business contacts, exchange business / trade leads, new business ideas and concepts, brand and market products and services, Identify manufacturers, suppliers, buyers, exporters, traders, service providers, investors and strategic business partners to explore potential business.
SME Business Club meetings will be organised twice in a month at Mumbai and format of meeting will be interaction, networking, presentation, round table discussion, product launch, introduction with investors, overview of products and services, demonstrations, keynote speech, discussion on issues and problems of industries and business sector as well as interface and interaction with bankers, investors, experts, mentors, policy makers, successful entrepreneurs, CEOs of MNCs, financial institutions, corporate, government corporations and members of Think Tank.
This club has been founded by Mr. Chandrakant Salunkhe Founder and President, SME Chamber
of India and Chairman and Managing Director, Macro Group of Companies to connect entrepreneurs
to enhance business connectivity and to explore emerging business opportunities.
The Club has launched at the hands of Dr. C. Rangarajan, Chairman, Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister and in august presence of Mr. C. B. Bhave, Chairman, Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Mr. Dinesh Rai , Secretary, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India, Mr. G. N. Bajpai, Former Chairman, SEBI and Mr. T. C. Venk.at Subramaniam, Chairman and Managing Director, EXIM Bank of India on 3rd may 2008 at Mumbai.
